All i can say is wow, i know there are some really corrupt places in the world, like the rather populous country that owns HK, but that's just ridiculous.

"one in three prisoners in Russia is a businessman". that means the prison would look real luxury, all those businessmen will pay the prison for air-conditioner, tv, and tennis court installation. looollzzz

Bizarre. I live in the Netherlands where there are a lot of regulations for businesses, but I take that over such a dangerous regime. Imprisonment for not wanting to sell your company? Sheesh.

that's ugly. i believe the fsb officer came prepared, knowing that the owner missused company's loan. owner's financial advisor didn't do a good job.

Hong Kong in general is a great place to start a business, though competition is tough, the free-market system in HK is very rewarding, especially if your business is upcoming and doing good in general.

Its a easy place to start a business, but all of Asia is pretty tough, some places are due to competition like HK other dues to corruption and bureaucracy.
