Curious about others experience - how durable the trackpad has been for you guys/gals?
I just got mine about 11 days ago and it already not working properly.
it will not scroll in the right and up direction.

any suggestions to fix this?

Clean it, first try just a damp [not wet] lint-free cloth. Holding the Rocktab face down, roll the trackball in all directions on the cloth.

Failing this, try a cotton swab and isopropyl alcohol (100%) with no additives or coloring. Be very careful and use the alcohol sparingly. Do not let the cotton fibers roll around the ball, it will only make things worse. This you will do with the Rocktab face up, applying slight pressure with the swab on the ball rotate it and move it across the surface simultaneously. Hopefully you will see bits of fluff come out, clear this away before continuing.

Either way it may take more than a single cleaning to restore full function, the rollers that track the movement of the ball get covered and slickened by residue on your fingers. Wash your hands and keep them clean when you are using the Rocktab to avoid build-up inside.

Hopefully it didn't get dirty in 11 days use.

My Trackball still works fine. I use it quite a bit too. Still shiney and blue like when I opened the package.

I never use it, I forget its there, plus, as the screen is very responsive I find it better and easier than the scroller, but mainly I just totally forget about it, I think its a little over sensitive myself, it needs some form of control, so its sensitivty and speed can be controlled

I find you can't whip that ball around as it is kind of sensitive and will send you flying off the page. Specially if you do that before a web page is fully loaded in the browser. Which d2k did warn us about, and I have experienced it myself. :)
But I usually use it in settings or sometimes in spaces where there are small items to choose. Makes it easier than trying to stick my finger on a 2x2 pixel sized spot. ;)

I would really be upset if my trackball stopped working. Scrolling without it is too frustrating for me. Sometimes light pressure works, sometimes heavier pressure works, most of the time I open up something I didn't intend to open. Trackball definitely requires an extremely LIGHT touch, but I don't open things accidentally with it. IMO the trackball should be on every touchscreen, and that includes capacitive screens too!
