This is from the teclast web site

images of the new T50 player and info on the development of the illusive T59 player
Image

translations indicates:
T50 completed design
T59 in design

it states about the T50:

Thinner than iphone
WQVGA ( 400*240 )
RMVB/RM/FLV/AVI
Ultra-high-resolution screen
ultra-wide-screen
same iphone capacitive touch-screen
multi-point touch
the whole bit-rate RMVB / RM / FLV / AVI video player, dual-core independence high-quality audio processor.

sounds promising?

any way take a look for yourselves:

http://translate.google.com/translate?u ... en&ie=UTF8

there are images of the T50 but not the T59 as yet

one more link about T50 and T59:

Design and GUI seem to be very nice.... but we are used to see GUI that will not be in the final version of the product (RM970)....

looks hot, by the sounds of the specs it might be using a JZ4740 chip, so it might be similar to the Onda VX747

are they not using the new rockchip RK2706 in the m30 and also the c260.280 was standard 2606a

Telechip is not rockchip but a chip on its own, this was a common misconception when people were wondering what chip the T39 used

yep - i know what admin said, but that was wrong, telechips are very different and are actually a korean company and the chip is used in many korean based player.
check out this iste which lists a few companies that use the chip.

http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/M ... echipsInfo

Rockchip and telechip are different.
Teclast use a mix of chips.
They have used the rockchip 26xx series, telechip TCC8200 series and now are moving into using the new rockchip 27xx series in the M30

there was much confusion over this issue built around the T39, possibly due to the fact that a rockchip version of the player was made also.

I really like the looks of the black with a small, brilliant red dot. Just like the HAL9000. "Hello, Dave."

Don't mess with HAL!
