Its Being used well =]

Postby TristanShiz » Wed Dec 30, 2009 8:39 pm

My dad just set the hdvp1 up and he thinks its amazing =]

we hooked up his 1TB hard drive filled with dvd rips (all seperated vob files)
and it played them without a hitch also sequentially so it was as if the vobs were merged :)
also the picture streaching doesnt appear to be present on the vob files

just waiting for the avi streaching fix and this will be the perfect device..

thanks again raz =]

Good to hear. Need to check if the resize issue affects avi files only.

Hope you dad continues to use it for his video playing needs.

If he's playing vob rip's then they will have the black borders in the stream and thus it will not stretch. I've had the issue with every file without borders that I've tried so far.
