lmao ok!

For the os:81, I've been looking at pics of it and it seems kind of thick. Is it as thin/ thinner than an Ipod touch?

OS-81 dimensions:

97mm x 51mm x 11mm

Take a look in that thread:

Hope you like! ;)

Ok last question. I've been looking around, and I was wondering if the main menu can be switched from landscape to portrait like the sflo

the OS-81 is thicker than the S:Flo, but not by much, but overall the OS-81 is not a thick player and is thinner than most comparable 3.0" players.

I own an OS-81 (actually got it for $50, but I doubt you'll get that kinda bargain) and yes, it's very good for video, when I first got it I was surprised at the screen quality, great viewing angles, and a 3" screen is a good size. Unfortunately, the entire UI is landscape, and I doubt you'd get a firmware with portrait for it, but despite that it works good. And it's about as think as an iPod Touch, maybe a but thinner, so it is not thick at all. Plus it has a built in speaker, so even if you're out of headphones you can (if you want) put it up to your ear and listen. And it's well built, doesn't feel cheap at all, and once you get used to it, it's pretty neat. So I'd recommend it, good deal, solid product.

Hope this helps!

EDIT: And as a bit of a bonus, it can play .flv files, so if you can download youtube videos (.flv format) you can load them right onto you player and they'll play.

well I talked to my parents and they won't budge over 60. $65 is the highest they'll go so I'm kind of stuck. It seems like I might be getting the vx525, but I don't really want to, but I can't find a better one at a lower/a little higher price. I was googling other players and I found something called Ramos iPearl Q19. Does anyone know anything about this player? it looks like this: Image

If I were you I'd offer to do a load of chores for the next week or so to get the extra $5 or so, rather than buy a player you don't want.

I high doubt I'll be getting the vx525. For me, the cons outweigh the pros. I'm now looking @ non-touchscreen players as well. Ones that have good gui's / a lot of customizable themes. Ahh this isn't easy, a lot of choices

I've been there myself. You can spend too long sometimes looking at 100's of players and you can end up confusing yourself. Spend tooooo long and a new bunch will be released and you've got to start again!. Just be sure of what you want functionally first, then do some research, then go with your instinct.

Quick note, Did you spot the 7% off Nationite players valid until April 10th, this should bring the OS-81 into reach. Use "7offthenation" in the coupon code section at the checkout.
