Yeah, I've been quitely hoping the phone does reasonably well, if only so that Meizu can get back to making a new MP4, hopefully with more memory this time.

Anything's possible of course, but I wouldn't count on seeing an M7 for quite a while. From the look of things, Meizu is devoting the entire company's resources to producing & marketing the M8. Granted, it wouldn't be that hard to "dumb down" the M8 and make an M7, but I just don't think Meizu has the resources or production capacity at the moment. I also think an M7 would cannibalize a portion of M8 sales, something Meizu probably doesn't want to see happen.

I wanted the M7 as well, but since the Samsung P2s have dropped significantly in price, I am just going to get one of those. I bought an 8 gb, but took it back hoping to find a place that sold the 16gb one o in the US, but no luck until recently. There are a lot of places in Canada that are seling them for cheap refurbished. The 16gb goes for about 150 US.

There is one sture in Canada.. future shop that has them new for about that price US, but they will not ship to the US. The only place to get them here is through Amazon.. at 250.00. They just started offering the 16gb a couple of months ago. Man places here have the 8gb.

Since the M7 is pretty much a "clone" of the Samsung P2, check out the Samsung. The sound on that thing is phenomenal and it has all sorts of features including bluetooth! I do not know where you are, but it might be even cheaper for you to get them. I have been reading that people in Canada have been geting the 8gb new for 80-100 CAD in stor. Just a year ago even the 8gb was 200 U.S.
