Very good videos with good, clear and accurate information on the firmware findings.

Apart from the video cable the bugs are not major and if you choose not to use screen lock or screen off they will not be a problem.

I have other makes of player with both tv in and out but they use the same type of 2.5mm cables and I have to do the exact same thing, pull it out slightly, I do not recommend wiggling it about as it will not help and you will eventually lose the tv function altogether.

The player and the theme look really good, well done Pinhead, can't wait to see more video's :D

m9d0u0b <i was charmed & got it!

now, my 777le is already filled with the aesthetics of your scarlet. :D

...oh, even if it unites with v1.2, the TV-out icon is also prepared newly!
(moreover, also the FWup screen has been customized...)

if the AGFA ePhoto series revives by your design, i will buy one immediately!

BUT i have one COMPLAINT in your work!

Yes, exactly my point!
But it would be nice and I think also not that big deal for Onda when they resolve those issues in the next firmware release.

The next one will be a full review of the V1.4 firmware. I'ved pland to make a english and german review of that. But today I also figure out that the fm-transmitter is also not working with the latest V1.4 firmware. That puts a bad light on the quality assurance organisation of ONDA, cause this function is also aviable for the 4GB modell of the VX777LE that has no TV-OUT at all.

@ admin
Not a big problem to me right now!
But i'm sure you will handle/fix this sql issue in the near future ;)

I'm still looking how to change/enlarge the touch area of a button/ touchable area. Caus I figure out that the touch area of a button has nothing to do with the associated image and the size of it. If this would be possible to change in the near future, my theme would be much more senstive, as it is right now! Do you or anybody else nows how to do that?

@ m9d0u0b
OK, my fault! ;)
But each day i'm using my sweet tiny VX777LE, if found new things (other images) that could be enhanced as well!

Cheers

yes you are right, the touch area is not linked to the image size on these players, and while we can enlarge the iamge we can not yet enlarge the touchable area

BTW, dont think i have mentioned but good work dude, not yet watched the vids but will do later

cheers

Just got my replacement machine and put your themes on - SUPERB work mate - well done!

Strangely when using your icon for the TV-OUT it works MUCH better than the original - not sure why, but the original one I`d have to press it several times, but yours just once!

Unless my last machine had a unresponsive bit of screen where it was, and this one hasn`t - I haven`t tried the original 1.2 firmware on this machine yet.

No, I take back, It still doesn`t want to be watched on TV! - the icon works OK when the TV lead isn`t in, then is pretty unresponsive once it`s plugged in and ready to be watched.

I don't want to sound stupid...But, when I download the theme for V1.2 it's always a .RAR file, and the my Onda doesn't recognize it. How come it's not a .RKW?

Am I just not smart enough to get how to get it to work?

Please, someone enlighten me? :D

Saxman171,
RAR is a compression format like .Zip, .LHA etc- it`s a compressed file you`ve downloaded.

You`ll need to get Winrar or something similar, inside the compressed file you`ll find the .RKW file.
