The Next Nationite Player?

agreed, i have thought about getting a ipod because there are a lot of acceseries but thats the only reason(there expensive,rather get a nationite player)

yeah..of cos i am not saying everything from scratch. But no matter in which part of the player, there always be the initial startup plan and design.

Someone will have to come up with something which will then be adopt by customer and brand it themselve.Instead of the designer just come up with something(anything), why not listen to what we demand and apply in on the design.

I bet it will be more profitable as the product actually got a customer base waiting even before it is launch...rather than hit it off the shelf , praying the sales will be good.

I see that is what china PMP is moving right. Just get something up and try their luck. Come up with thousands of almost similiar product but none are really in demand.

Just hope that it will be nationite product which other brand player trying to get it under their name in the future.

yeah the biggest factor is always money, how much would it cost and the access to the right people/employees that could have the expertise to build it for you, very complex....for now :twisted:

i think any player with a S:Flo type touch screen and nice UI would be good, haha, especially if its 4.3"

well putting button players is easy to do, but a lot of them out there (China MP4 Players that is) aren't really very well laid out and work counter productive and make the player less functional.

However the slide navigation system that the OS-43 has does give a bit of a change from the normal touch screen and button navigation players.

i think raz should go to telcast and do like a partner player woth mp4nation this way we would get say in the player and make it ours, unlike all the other player that we are just handed!

well we maybe working with a bit more exclusize designed model which is not made by teclast, but the first samples wouldn't even be produced towards mid January and the player itself won't be out till start of Feb. However this is jjust talk right now between us and the company so nothing may even come of it in the end.

At the end its always about the money, it takes money to do more exclusive stuff so maybe when everything with the global markets is better and there are more willing buyers, there would be more opportunity for projects like that. However for now, like many companies, we need to take the safe bet on projects, meaning not doing so not so exclusive stuff.

well judging from what people are saying on the boards about wanting players more exclusive and more bespoke to nationite then they want you to spend more money of this kond of player .. question is, are people willing to pay for it ... and in all honesty .. i think they are, i am personally at a stage now where i have been with these chinese players from the very start and now i am a little frustrated that things are still the same, great hardware, sub par firmware, i have been there and done that, now i am willing to pay that little more for the right player and not buy so many of them.

what do others think, you all want a better, more unique designed player with solid firmware are you both ..

1, willing to wait for the development
2. Willing to pay that little extra for it

in these credit cruch times do you want to spend your money more wisely, i.e. pay a little more initially but get the right player and not renew for a while, im just interested where people are on this now, how do you want to spend your cash????
