I bought an Onda VX787 and when i was listening the radio the language returned in chinese settings and on display appeared a question (I don't know what kind of message was..... english is enough difficult for me, chinese is impossible). Probably the answers were yes or not.... pherhaps...

I turned off and on but the question appeared again... I selected one choice and I saw something like a resetting and reinstalling of all files in the VX787. At the end of the process the display was split horizontally with the two half screens reversed. Since that moment the display of my VX787 never turned on.

If I connect with usb I see what is in my two partition... I tried to reinstall the version 1.7, 1.8 or 2.0 of firmware but everytime i found only an empty partition. If I reboot the VX787 I see only one partition and selecting it the system asks me to format......

What else can I do?!?!

I had a problem a few days ago, and left the player to charge for half hour and it automatically came on when it was ready. I am assuming that you tried resetting the player by holding the power button and reset hole? Here is the link to my problem and how i solved it. Don't know if it helps.
