Hi anyone who can help, hope raz will see this before the end of the pre-sale.

i am thinking about ordering the OS-43 player and the only thing that is stopping me is the worry that this has problems playing videos.

does the player have the same problem as the Ainol V3000 with slow flash built in memory.

also what would be the best player out of the OS-43 and the OS-81 for playing videos for long periods.

Raz says that "the screen is a TFT 262K color screen" here:

i think you are misunderstanding the issue of the flash memory speed, that is to do with trying to play videos that are in hi res on the V3000 hi res screen, although the problem would be the same here and on all players with the RK2706 chip, there would be no real reason to make your videos that hi res for the OS-43.

yes it can be modded and i am sure we will see some themes as soon as people start getting the p[layer in hand, as for shipping i am sure raz said the 12th, give or take a few days for the busy xmas period, i would say don't bank on xmas delivery it might be pushing it a little

just to confirm, this player got TV-out right?
Because it is one of the reason i choose this player. I have placed my order

I've checked the forum at telcast and there are some members mentioning that TV-out is not supported.There is a mistake from advertising ads which stated TV-out is supported.

Can please confirm again..thanks

tv out is supported its the television reception module that is not included in this model, that will come later, maybe they are getting confusded

Thanks for the quick reply.

China side they are using the one with television reception version.
Maybe the version with DVT do not have tv-out function.
