I swear, it's you Spaniards who keep coming on here, posting the most amazing pics of your home-country, that make me INSANELY JEALOUS!!!

I'd love to visit your country one of these days!

well here is Murfreesboro, TN. we are a suburb of Nashville which is about 20 minutes away. there really is not anything special about Murfreesboro unless you are a civil war fan. here are some pics from the 'boro and nashvegas as they are called around here. :wink:

I'm in Springdale Arkansas, Home of the Razorbacks. Totally loving it here. The people here are great. The bad thing is that a kkk group is in Harrison, Arkansas. Which is kinda bad and is the largest KKK group there....But, good thing there not close to me. Because there not to fond on asians like me...

Hey! I can honestly say that I've been to all 3 of your guys' places (those last three posts)!

I briefly had to stay in Riga for a botched layover between Helsinki and Moscow (one of those overnighters).

A couple years ago I drove through Fayetteville to check out the campus and stadium and ended up getting interviewed by the local news on my thought on the Razorbacks. I don't think they used the footage as they realized that I was just on my way through to Oklahoma to watch my Washington Huskies play the Sooners.

And my uncle lives in Alkmaar (I hope I'm spelling it right) and when I was about 13, he took me pretty much everywhere in Holland over a week's worth of time!

Seeing all your pictures makes me very nostalgic!

This is my beach(= my home) in Bridgeport Connecticut. The Beach is located in Seaside Park which was donated to the city of Bridgeport by P.T. Barnum who was one of its mayors. Many of the mansions just outside Seaside Park were built by Barnum for his circus staff. Seaside Park was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted who also designed Central Park in New York City and several other park in major European cities. Seaside is also where Sikorsky flew his 1st helicopter and where Whitehead is said to have flown his plane before the Wright brothers.

In the top photo, the dots on the beach show where I spend my summer days while I spend my summer nights to the right the pond near the buildings. The beach is man-made & was 1.8 miles long when created in 1957. Due to erosion, it is only about half that length. The buildings are part of the University of Bridgeport.

PS. I live about 20 minutes by highway north of Bridgeport and have been 'beaching it' there since 1965. To see more of Seaside Park I have a bunch of music videos posted on Youtube under the name of DrinkingStar.
