I got quite curious because of this nice UMPC, so after klicking through lots of blogs, I found these pictures:

This one is also on the mp4nation blog:

The official name is "Porient H12" btw.

Looks quite cheap to me... :roll:

It's not known how much it will cost. I quote:

pocketables.net wrote:
Curious about what was going on, I got in touch with the company's sales manager recently to ask for more photos, full specs, and availability/pricing information. I'm still awaiting details on price, but I've got everything else below.

The H12 is available now, but since Porient asked me how many I'd like to import, I'm assuming that it's another one of those "order in bulk" or "wait for a rebrand" devices we've been seeing so much of lately. I've asked the sales manager about the minimum order requirements, though, so we can always buy a truckload if the number and corresponding price are sensible.

And about what it can do: just some specs here. I quote again:

* 520MHz Intel XScale PXA270
* 2GB flash
* 4.8" TFT touchscreen (800 x 480)

* 802.11b/g WiFi, GPS, DAB/DVB-H/DVB-T
* 5.12" x 3.35" x 0.63"
* 10.6 ounces
* Web browser, RSS reader, MSN, multimedia player, photo viewer/editor, voice recording, email, PDF viewer, office software, business card management, etc.

i've been in contact with these guys, the last email was that they would contact me soon when a sample would be ready, that was almost a week ago - they did sya the product was already in mass production and much like the pocketables person, they wouldn't give me any sort of indication on pricing, which is super strange for a Chinese manufacturer to do, especially for a product that they claim is in mass production and information of it has been floating on the net and their site for sometime.

I don't think it's toooo ugly. It is deffinately interesting, it looks like it would be useful for checking emails in the morning or reading up on Wikipedia to prove a friend wrong in a bet. This all depends on how good the touch screen is and how well they implemented a keyboard.
