thanks guys for your concern especially maderin..no i did not throw anything out of the window..lol..sorry kept you guys waiting..fell asleep..dead tired..even now..lol..

Btw the prob i had was my player displayed the icons but i can't press them..

after i put back my old files..do i restart??..and how do i upgrade normally??=)

I have been thinking about this one....

I do not think you're player is either S:flo or a Teclast T50, I think it is a Gosun ( or something like that )

This player looks the same but apparently it has a different touch screen which is probably causing the problems.

If you can load you're backup back into the player, re-start it and report back with how it is functioning.

Just disconnect it and it should be working, re-start the player to be sure.

Do you not have any more information on you're player, is there nothing printed on the back casing, do you not have the original box, instructions... ?

the player on's but the display goes KUKU..got colour..can touch but then it goes all like a spoiled tv..

nothing is written at the back of the player..the box says its a DIGITAL MP4 AUDIO PLAYER..thats it..

Yes, I was dreading that, This is probably caused by the Nand flash which holds the boot up part of the firmware, this has now been changed by the tool you used earlier and now your old firmware doesn't match.

We have no option but to try and get it to work on the Teclast v2.0 firmware now.

I will extract the complete firmware from my player and upload it shortly
