New poll suggestion: What surgical procedure should Bryce get? He suggested vasectomy. I say he should have the one (diagrammed below) where they wrap your stomach around your esophagus to make an artificial sphincter. It's supposed to help with acid reflux. Not because he needs it or anything, but just because it sounds wickedly gruesome. Other opinions?

ACL reconstruction...but he has to get the epidermal and stay awake during it (trust me...it's a lot more fun that way).

on a "side" note, while Optimus 1 is still a good name, one should definitely be named Optimus Prime/Primus.

Wow, when I looked at this thread last night, I thought it was going in a weird direction. Now I look at it and I am very concerned! So far I have been very lucky in that I have no had any major surgery, but some of those brain surgery documentaries where they keep their patients awake while they cut their scalp....that seems to be pretty wicked...

well, if they numb the area, it's pretty cool, because you sometimes get to watch the procedure. with my knee surgery, i got to see it first-hand, plus, the arthroscopes had cameras on them, so i got to see the inside of my knee. awesome!
