Hollywood deaths

First Bernie Mac dies, now it's Isaac Hayes.

As they say, tragedy comes in threes. I shudder to think that we're going to hear more bad news. Let's hope not.

Also, it turns out BOTH Mac and Hayes just recently wrapped up a movie together with Samuel L. Jackson called "Soul Men". That cast and crew must be especially down after hearing what happened this weekend.

bryce, you forgot Heath Ledger also. I believe it wasn't this weekend, but I just heard
about it on the radio yesterday.

I certainly didn't forget about Ledger, but his death was in February. We had a long thread about him at the time and even one now that pertains to him with the Batman movie thread.

I'm just saying that when things like this happen in three's, it's usually all within a couple days to a week.

No problem. But seriously, you didn't hear about it until yesterday? I remember when it happened it was HUGE! The 24/7 news networks like CNN had cameras on the street corner of his apartment in New York and were interviewing anyone who's ever met him.

It was Britney Spears/Anna Nichole Smith-level coverage from the news.

On second thought, it's probably good you missed it (at least the "news" angle of it all).

yea probably....I don't watch much of the news due to how depressing it can get lately.
With all the negativity in the news, I only watch the weather channel for that part of it all.

Bernie Mac and Issac Hayes are two huge losses in the world of entertainment.

Bernie really hurt I really enjoyed kings of comedy, his show on fox, just about anything he was involved in.

But to make a prediction on who may be next (i know its wrong) Amy Winehouse. She seems destined to O.D
