question about jxd 301

hello
recently my ipod broke and i my warranty was over
so i decided instead of going for another boring ipod
ill expand my horizons. i did some research and discovered
the mp4 community, i saw a video review of the jxd 301
and immediatley fell in love with it, its what i need.
I ride the bus to school for about 2 hrs, so as you imagine i get pretty bored.

ive been looking for the jxd 301, but cant seem to find it

ive tried here mp4nation, ebay and nothing. Does anyone know where i can purchase one, thank you in advance.

oh and sorry if this is in the wrong place xD

Welcome Igzilla!

The jxd301 was discontinued a few months back. It was a great player with a HUGE following. I'd sell you mine if you can't seem to find something here you don't like. (Seriously not trying to solicit business or anything, I'd just rather see it put to good use as I don't really play with it any more.)

But don't take that for granted. There's some great players here. Unfortunately, it seems that "gaming players" seem to be pretty stagnant when it comes to manufacturers developing and releasing them for sale.

Hey Igzilla, welcome to mp4nation. I managed to be one of the last people to get the 301 from mp4nation before it was discontinued. The 301 is a very good player but from what Ive read, it seems that the SmartQ T5-II is a better player since it does what the 301 do and even more, including video-out, subtitle support and some other stuff.

Granted, the T5-II is $50 more than what the 301 was but it seems to be a pretty popular player with good support and great features. Ive read that emulation is really good and it plays correctly Game Boy games, which the 301 plays poorly. Hope this helps. See ya in the forums.

yesterday i read up on the 301
and learned it poorly emulated gba games and nes.
I also looked into the T5 and i think i will be purchasing it

Glad you chose to buy from MP4 Nation. Enjoy your T5, but, you might want to take a look at the Newsmy M-Touch which does run under Windows Windtouch. It means there will be a lot of third party apps/games for only $90 here at MP4 Nation!
