I'm moving this to the cell phone sub-forum for a better response.

When you're talking about electronics you generally get what you pay for unless you're also paying for a name attached (Microsoft, Apple, etc.). So if you see a phone for $99 and another that looks the same for $199 chances are the more expensive one has more features and/or works better.

It would really depend on what you want to do with the phone. If you don't need or want wifi that will tend to drop the price a bit. Also if you just want a touch screen phone but not really a "smart phone" The CECT P168C is a nice touch screen phone but by no means is it a smart phone. Meaning that it does not support java and you can't load apps on it. So if you need office like apps and the ability to load 3rd party apps then a phone like the T68,x999+, or W800 would work out better for you. To sum things up what you want the phone to do will refelect the price you will pay. Smart phones generally being more expensive than just a touch screen phone with no java or OS like windows mobile ect ect.
