there are now more players that allow for 'favorite' its like playlists but basically you can add songs to a favorites list and the player will play those songs

i have wondered if we could find the file in which the player was saving the favorites info, then edit it and add more songs. I am pretty sure its just a txt file, if that were possible you could create your own playlist on your PC and transfer it to the player - it would be easier than selecting one file at a time on your player and adding it to your favorites.

on the rockchip players there is a file saved ith this infi but it also has some other stuff in it that can not be recreated, they live in the APPDATA folder i think and in there also are all the generated lists the media library creates, dont think iy poss to do any form of playlst via the pc for rockchips at least, not sure about ingenics, meizu can though

It'd be way simpler if those Mp4s start supporting M3U playlists! :P
