The way I use my Ramos on Ubuntu, maybe you can try sth similar with the S.Flo. With the Ramos, if you press the M key while connecting to the computer, it will give you an access to the firmware drive of the player. At the same time, the data drive (4Gb) is also mounted? Using this method permits to have access to this drive on my Ubuntu computer.
What exactly do you mean by "press the M key"? I'm using the Ubuntu 8.04 - the Hardy Heron.
Is the "M key" some key on your player? or M on keyboard while in some program?
I don't see any device show up under the /dev/ folder. so can't even do a manual mount.
I am able to connect it to my Mac (running Tiger). Since Mac is based on BSD, I'd assume it should work under ubuntu if it works under BSD. Any pointers would help.
