Hi,
When I unplug the VX777 it make a sort of list of all files in the pmp. At that time I'd just put 4Gb of files and this operation take a few seconds, is there a way to disable this ? Because it do it even if I didn't put any file during the time when the pmp is pluged.

its updating the database on the player, there isn't really anyway to disable this (i think, i have not played around with the VX777 that much since we got it in stock).

Thats just 'updating' the file list....It 'checks' to see what you may have just added and makes those files accessable!

Why would you want to disable that?

For instance you have say...30 music files on the player,
Then you add 50 more...

When you disconnect, it updates the files and puts them in order and such. :D

It's a good thing!

if this happens even when adding no files then try a few things to try and disable it

maybe try holding the power button as you unplug, might work (doubt it though)

there is a new firmware comin for this player so this may be fixed now

Yeah the 747 does that too and it is a bit annoying that it does it even if you don't make any changes to the files. I've just learned to live with it.
