Correction to my last post - the non Teclast ver. 1.07 although much better than ver. 1.05 it is still causing too much " autopilot behaviour "

I am now going to re-load the Teclast T50 ver. 1.07 firmware and try it for several days.

As we now have the tools to mod the firmware it may be possible to get rid of the ugly Teclast start up and close down graphics.

as long as you do not have an 8GB version, then loading the T50 firmware is fine

I was think, its time we should have a support page for all nationite players. The least we should have is support->download page with the link to the firmware, what's new and how to load it. This will make the site look more credible.

Is there a way to turn off the fade in/out when changing songs?
It seems that the 1.07 update added this feature, and I can find where to turn it off...

It's in the same menu where you change your equalizers (EQ's). Just scroll down and you will see an option 'Volume Shade' (at least that is what's called in Dutch, but English is probably the same) under the 'Stone-3D' setting.

By default that 'volume shade' is on, so remember to turn it off if you don't like it
