FedEX to Germany?

Postby ustmisha » Thu Dec 05, 2013 9:36 pm

Hi guys! This is my first post. I'm about ordering a Brainwavz M5 + free Brainwavz Delta with free FedEX shipping, but won't I need to pay customs? So is 44.5$ a final price, or I will need to pay more to get it?
Thanks!

possibly - depending on where you are - you will maybe have to check on fedex site in relation to your country and see if they have hidden these details deep within their website :)

welcome

  • Phone: Samsung Galaxy Mini / Huawei G300 (just ordered)
  • Fav App: Strava, IMDB, Jewels
  • Portable Audio: currently none
  • Headphones PC: Brainwavz HM5

Theres a 50/50 chance you will get hit with some sort of duty, this is based on feedback we have seen from other German based customers.

I think there´s a 100% chance you have to pay 19% EUst (Einfuhrumsatzsteuer) on your invoice + € 12,- FedEx Servicefee (10,50 + 19%)
the +12.- you can´t avoid, regardless the amount of tax you have to pay

If you have time to wait, choose standard air mail (4-6 weeks),
then you have a 50:50 chance to avoid tax - and in worst case you have to pay 19% VAT (but no extra fee)
