Well, that looked like a hinge to me...but a closer look reveals its just a nice bend. I like the looks of it for sure, and lord knows I have a ton of headphones to use them for ;)

The Quartz doesn't fold up, its all solid bends with the stem attached to the base, its also using 6mm acrylic so it won't bend easy even with a lot of weight placed on its head.

Well, if it's anything like the others in the acrylic lineup you have, it's built like a tank! I have zero worries about durability :)

Fingers crossed, the two new stands use more glue joints than the other two (Peridot has none, the Zirconia has 1), hopefully the strong epoxy glue does its job well and we don't get any complaints on joint failures.

It's not like they are being asked to hold up the world...just a set of fairly lightweight headphones comparatively, so they should hold up fine ;) The clear acrylic also looks really classy to me, both of mine always get a lot of compliments from my friends every time they see them, always a plus in my book :)

cool, they do look good, still like to see some form of cord control built in, clip, plug etc

haha, no they don't but i also don't want them falling apart easily, that would be quite a problem.
