Hi, there! I'll try to write in understandable English... :)
I made some search but can't find anything about the Ainol V6000HDV.
My player, that I haven't been using for a long time, seems to be a brick, now. It starts but after showing the short µLive splash screen, it just displays nothing.
Other bad news, my player is not recognized by my PC while USB connected. Brick!
I already have the IMG file so I'm ready to install the firmware but how to do when my player is not recognized... so maybe I must do a Reset, I guess. Can't find how to perform it. Google didn't help me so...

My question: does anyone here know how to perform a Factory Reset or a simple Reset with this nice Aino(L) V6000HDV player?

Thanks a lot, MP4N guys! :)

it is a sochip player. you can use livesuite to try to recover it. just download _your exact firmware_ and flash it using the livesuite recovery.
go to the section about "If Player Appears Dead, And Is Not Recognized By Computer, Or Is Stuck In A Reboot Loop:"

Hi!
Thanks A LOT for your response, Suppin.
By the way, I tried everything, both methods, several times... and my player still displays his "uLive" FlashScreen, then black screen. I see the error message from LiveSuit... then do the methods but LiveSuit doesn't do nothing more.
Too bad, this player is like new, worked great a few times, then I left it for a while because I bought me a bigger one. Wanted to use it back and give it to my child but... BRICK.

So I still need help. Any other idea?

Hi, Maderin!
No, you're right, I'm using Win7. So now, I'm using another PC, an XP one. For now, it's just the same... strange message, then I do RESETx3" ONx3"..... both methods but I do still have a sad brick. I'll try this several times and tell you want the results will be.
Thanks for your help, Maderin.

is the PC asking to install drivers, if so ensure you do not let the PC auto-install, you need to point the wizard to the drivers files

Hi, dear MP4N friends.

Used XP, tried to install drivers but finally received the message drivers can't be updated. The player is not recognized, not even in the disk manager.
Maybe the drive is dead. But when I put the player ON, it still displays the µLive Splash Screen and then........ black screen. If I put a memory card in the player and then plug the player, my PC doesn't see nothing. I just don't know what went wrong... never got any shock...

... :S

if you got the messgae that drivers cant be updated then you have not done the drivers install correctly, if you let XP search automatically for drivers it wont find them, you have to tell the drivers install wizard exactly where the files are

Hi!

Yes, thanks. I did, following the tutorial http://www.mp4nation.net/forum/f50/onda-sochip-sc8600-firmware-upgrade-recovery-guide-11088/ , using usbdrv folder, with its 2 files, sys and inf, from the desktop, then from a usb drive... but finally can't update. No, maybe the player has a more severe problem. I'm not sure. For me, it sounds very strange taht, while putting a SD card into the player, this card is not recognized by my XP.
What do you think about this: the player starts, shows it's splash screen then black screen... no drive recognized by PC. The player is like new, mint. It did work a few months ago, I didn't use it for a while and then, brick. May I try some voodoo stuff to have my player back to life? :)

Thanks again.

Many have just kept trying the upgrade/recovery guide, and all of a sudden , it worked. Just keep at it. You'll get it. I don't believe it's a brick. It does happen, but it's rare.
