I bought the brainwavz beta with mic from this site when they were on sale. I received it within 10 day. And worked well when used with my laptop.

Everything was working fine till now but as soon as I plugged them in my mobile things started to get bad.
The double click and the long press of the button was not working fine i was pretty upset but then just after a days use the headsets started to
send faulty single press/long press events without me even touching the button. It has come down to the point that now i cant use them with my mobile
because suddenly the music pauses and sometimes it even dials a call to the last called person.

Considering that I bought this headset for my mobile I am really pissed off with both brainwavz for making such faulty product and
mp4nation for shipping faulty products. I would give benefit of doubt to mp4nation and would not accuse the for putting faulty products on sale but
that is how it has come to me,a first time buyer at this site.

All i could say is i am truely disappointed with both brainwavz and mp4nation and would probably be reluctant to buy from this site or brainwavz.

I understand your frustration but every company that as ever existed as made and sold a faulty product at some point in it's existence.. It sucks for the customer but unfortunately these things do happen from time to time.. Like psilo110 said above send mp4nation a support ticket and I'm sure they would be happy to fix this unfortunate situation for you. Good luck.

Have opened a support ticket as-well, no reply yet though.
Anyways if they ask me to ship back the item to them then it would cost me more to ship the item back to them then the orignal price of headsets as the price of shipping from india to HK is very high. So i just wanted to share my experience with mp4nation.

According to the latest sale email I received from MP4Nation they're celebrating a holiday there and won't be opened again until Oct 3rd.. During that time support tickets may not be replied to or any orders shipped until they re-open.. You should get a reply to your ticket shortly after they re-open on the 3rd.. Good luck.

Here's the message in the email:

its a bummer for sure but it happens to the best of them

anyway, dont make assumptions, get in touch with mp4nation, see what can be worked out, one way or another im sure it can be resolved

Unfortunately we do not live in a perfect world and defects will happen and it will affect people. I am sorry your unit as a fault, but that's also why we provide warranties. Open a support ticket (which i see you have) and our team will get back to you and help you out.

Just wanted to report that I have had exactly the same issue with the same model (Brainwavz Beta) also bought on sale a month ago. I only wanted to mention that because perhaps there may have been a bad batch. Or perhaps not. But I'm not upset about it. Stuff happens. I've opened a support ticket and it seems to be being resolved. Actually I'm quite pleased with MP4Nation's services (very prompt support) and I don't think this incident is a reflection on them at all.
