Do you know if there is a good database/website out there to compare each tablet?

Slatedroid has a ton of information and you can get a better idea on how these tablets perform.

Mad is right about the new amlogic chip, we need more time to see how good they are. I also want to point out that when Ainol make their move to a new chip it's usually due to the new chip costing them less. The companies churning these arm processors are getting quite cut throat on their pricing.

I couldnt agree more with that statement, the main reason the Allwinner A10 chip became so popular in China is the fact that it cost so much less than anyone else's...the fact it worked so well was simply a fringe benefit. Amlogic isnt so good at optimizing their chips, either,so I personally think, performance wise,Rockchip will come out ahead here this time around. Th 30XX series is really well done, and its out already which is much better than the way its 2918 was done(a little late to the party that one was). But of course, cost will out the next best seller in Chinese tabs...just hope its the best one this time around.

I don't know if the RK30xx will do as well as you may expect, the A10 chip took all the air out of Rockchips last gen chip. What i could see the RK30xx chip doing is becoming a chip that even larger western brands choose for their use. It has all the specs that a bigger brand would want and probably at a very attractive price. I still see the A10 and that chips future generation of successor to dominate the budget tablet market.

Is there already some preliminary information on the A10 follow-up?
I don't remember to have read anything about and I'm quite curious to have a sneak peek ;) at what they are planning...

Actually, the A10 is actually getting a cheaper variant to compete in the under $100.00 category...but Allwinner should have a multi core variant later on in the game. No one knows for sure when it will be yet, but it just might be worth waiting for if the A10 is any indication of what they can do :)

They have the A13 chip, tablets using that chip are basically priced about the same as 7" media players were going for two years ago :)

Isnt the Allwinner A10 a total different chip for the A cortex line?

Also are there any good ainol or similar tablets with gps? I was going to buy the aurora 2 but i hesitate by the lack of gps and the fact that ips screen reduced the lifetime by 3 hours (on wifi compared to the elf 2). Is the ips technology worth the $20 and the more power consumption?

P.S Is the 32gb sd card offered as an optional purchase for aurora authentic? because its says sandisk.. trancend etc..

Not sure if i get what you mean about the A109 not being cortex.

Not many China tabs have GPS anymore, i assume its because its not a feature that many people were looking for or they aren't doing it in order to reduce cost. Only the bigger name brands seem to have GPS built in.

The 32GB cards are all real, we mention those brands as the card could be from any one of those brands.

Thx for the information.. Regarding the processors i was reading that the Allwinner A10 is misunderstood by many as a the upgrade of the A9 while in fact is inferior..
