Mad is right about the new amlogic chip, we need more time to see how good they are. I also want to point out that when Ainol make their move to a new chip it's usually due to the new chip costing them less. The companies churning these arm processors are getting quite cut throat on their pricing.
I couldnt agree more with that statement, the main reason the Allwinner A10 chip became so popular in China is the fact that it cost so much less than anyone else's...the fact it worked so well was simply a fringe benefit. Amlogic isnt so good at optimizing their chips,either,so I personally think,performance wise,Rockchip will come out ahead here this time around. Th 30XX series is really well done,and its out already which is much better than the way its 2918 was done(a little late to the party that one was). But of course,cost will out the next best seller in Chinese tabs...just hope its the best one this time around.
