Sounds like a stress fracture if you did not need a cast. I have had 6 leg operations so I know the misery of having to wear a cast. I hope you feel better and heal quickly with little or no discomfort.

I have seen the xray pics, and there is a crack right under my shoulder. I feel a little better now, but it's hard when we are in moving..also, my mom passed away 3 days ago, there is no way I could travel with broken arm. :( I regret that I should go visit her during the Summer. :(

I am sorry to hear about your mother passing away. I hope your arm heals quickly. At least your kids are pitching in to help you. I hope your husband is also taking up some of the load off of you. Stay optimistic and things will work out for the good in the long term.

Wow,so sorry to hear about your mom and arm...I honestly hope all works out for you :( I'm staying at my moms house and have been quite busy myself---she was diagnosed with cancer last month. I'm ferrying her to her chemo appointments and just being there for her...not much else I can do. I hope you feel better soon, though, I've broken more than my fair share of bones in my life, they heal up faster than you think.

Thanks guys. My arm is getting better, at least i can lift up my hand to the chest high but not arm, it's been hurting a lot last couple of days, because we finally moved into new house this week, too many things need to sort it out. I have to take pain killer to stop pain. good thing is kids started school yesterday, I can have some peace. :)

Take your time unpacking once you get moved in. I hope you are having a moving company move you in. If so, tell the movers what room and where in the room to place whatever it is they are carrying. I say that because during my last 2 college years I worked for United Van Line moving people. Tell your husband and kids to unpack what is necessary for day-to- day living. Over the course of time, unpack the rest. Whatever you do, DO NOT Lift anything, even with your good arm unless it is very light in weight. Lifting too heavy an object with just your good arm could 'throw out" your lower back and shoulder.

We had movers move for us, there is no way my hubby can move Piano and pool table and other heavy furniture. ..lol

He and kids did most of packing and unpacking jobs, but I have to direct them where put to, other wise, we 'll never find them.
