yep - good ole MP4 days, but then came Android and screwed with our little online world, in much the same way Andoid is fragmented so it has fragmented our little forums and they have all scattered to the far corners of the android forums, well, we cant force our children we can only guide them

I always thought it would be cool to have the internet on a PMP, but sure didn't expect Android.

I just noticed these in on the store site today. Didn't know there were any of these still floating around.

There are still a few models being made by ainol and a few other makers, but they are quickly becoming more rare as tablet prices fall down.

I still use my 7" Ainol PMP occasionally, but I find that these are taking a big hit compared to tablet. The best thing about my tab is that it plays my video files and I have it in a leather GPS case that fits perfectly. It makes it very easy to carry around. But everyone who sees it asks me if it is a Kindle Fire. LOL.

My old not touch screen SC9800 V8000HDS is still kicking despite a fair bit of use. The battery life has dropped but I can still get a few plus hours on level 4 out of five brightness. It does not play the occasional .mp4 files or can be a pain if I was say fast forward or backing and it then stutters or audio is not in sync. Also never did get the mini hdmi output to work on tvs.
