Good to see it arrived safely and thanks for sharing your impressions with us.

Any chance you can try this video clip and let the people on that thread know how the video plays:

D2K, please do! I suggest trying various player softwares, but most certainly MX player, as it supports multiple cores.

Copying this to my Tornados as I type this :)

@Neko The Tornados is a single core, so that wouldnt help much ;) You got it confused with the new dual core, the Amlogic 8726, their new dual core. Easy mistake to make as I've been getting the two mixed up all week, lol.

Thanks D2K, but then the test is I think useless and Raz was mistaken to ask you. We need feedback on how Hi10p plays on the new dual cores from Rockchip and AMlogic, we already know the old ones are no good. Thanks anyway!

Im gonna try it anyway simply because I just put it on an sd card ;) If it dosent work,it dosent work. Im thinking of ordering the dual core later on in the month(July),I'll try it then as well.

For the record, it plays back great, wish it had English subtitles, though ;)

I somewhat expected this chipset to work fairly well despite its low price, being it based on a more advanced Cortex A9 core than the Allwinner one, which still relies on a Cortex A8 architecture. Probably, the Cortex A8 needs a very well optimized software to work well (which is almost never the case with chinese tabs, at least for now), while the more powerful A9 is a little bit "tolerant" on this respect. However I have not had the opportunity to test one of these tabs myself so I can't be sure of their behaviour, but my feeling was, and is, positive for them.
The same, with more confidence, applies to the RK3066 that should be at least as godd as this one, if not better. Problem for it is that its price seems to be too high and if it doesn't come down quite fast, it risks to kill the RK3066 for good...
