dont take my word on battery, i aint done any full on testing or installed any custom ROMs,. apparently there is something but after reading 15 pages on SD i lost the will to live and gave up looking, WIFI is definately lacking though, the hardware is not as strong as anything else i have here, it drops and slows in places where my other dont, it just is one of those "nearly but not quite", simple things like a drawing game my daughter got where it wont let her draw smoothly, web browsers scrolling is jerky like an 80`s body popper (FF, chrome and stock)

i love the size and form factor, screen is great, good to have a cheap tabe where all angles work :)

media streaming from PC to movies is nice, but again can grind to halt if too far out of range, the RK tabe did better on this in terms of distance

battery example, on charge all day till 4 oclock - full 100%, daughter come in and draws for 10 mins, watches iplayer web player for 30 mins, another 10 mins or so on basic web browsing looking for washing machine then leavs it, i am using for last 30 mins, screen is 2/3 brightness and battery is at 73% - thats real world usage

Thanks, mad. I think the battery isnt awful considering it has that nice screen to power. I cant understand why it slows down on you, though. The T10a is smooth as glass across the board...could be you got a bad example,or its just the way the A90 works. For the screen alone, though,I would recommend this one over the T10a,that form factor is perfect for a tab. Maybe you could try and move all the apps to your sd card, that should help speed things up a bit. Cant really think of anything else atm to help with the slowdowns...I'll ask around and see what I can dig up :)

Here is store link.. MP4 Nation Audio, Video & Gadget Store

just noticed Raz added Aurora on the shopping list. . :)

also, A90 is $179. not D2K mentioned $169. huh?

My bad, will correct. I want to try out the Aurora...just hate the 7" form factor. Maybe the higher res screen will help out with that one....but I doubt it. Looks like that will be the one I'm gonna buy next week, though. I need my Netflix(its a minor addiction, lol),and hopefully it works with the Ainol better than the EKEN ;)

All the eken tabs have pretty much the same hardware and even the same firmware, apart from a few differences, the few differences are what make them different models. D2K your experience with the T01 will probably mirror what you would find with the A10, except for the larger form factor and the better screen.

The Aurora is pretty nice to hold, very slim and nice screen. Not sure about how the android port is, haven't played with it much. Good to hear that there is custom firmware development.

There are a few other tablet models in stock, Onda, RAmos, Teclast, SmartQ and a few non brands, they will be on the site on Monday :) maybe even a few video reviews ;)

Great to hear you'll stock more tablets Raz. Yes, Aurora has quite few custom roms that a lots of people like them. I believe it's discontinued productions for this model and people hard to find.

Did...did you say EVEN MORE tabs coming Monday???? I think I just had a tabgasm! Video reviews are always good :) I agree, the A90 is definitely the same(almost)as the T10a,so I'll probably skip it(not sure on that one yet...I prefer the form factor of the A90,as well as the larger battery),but the Aurora's are nice despite the horrible(IMHO)form factor. Can't wait to see the new additions :)

Ainol did another production run and that how we got them, i don't know if they will be making more and its not easy to know with ainol if they will make another production run or not. It does seem that ainol are now moving from the A10 models to the new amlogic chips, not sure i thats a good move or not as the last amlogic gen weren't all that great (at least in android implementation).

Only time will tell on that,Raz. At least the current ones have some built in support(that's the reason I'm interested in them),never a bad thing with China tabs. By the way,I just realized that you can only have four images per post(it errored with my last post saying that)...you might want to up that if possible or TWP might rebel ;)

Yes, Ainol is in production of Novo7 Aurora 2, which is 1024*600 IPS screen , dual core. Have heard AML will have source code out? It'll be a great development for this.
