Thanks, will do if I get the Hyundai. Which may turn out to be the case, my Aurora is still listed as "preparing for shipment", so I am guessing the "in stock" bit may have been a lie.

Update: Ainol Novo7 Aurora arrived, disappointing quality. Big gap on the left side between the screen and the case, poor response (not due to touchscreen I think but to slow response of system/cpu - was reported in older test, so consider unfixed). No software at all on board, not even a pdf reader. Playstore preinstalled, guess what, I don't need it :-)

I'll dump this and get a Hyundai as soon as it is sold. AFAIAC Ainol is dead.

You mean the big gap is physical problem? just the display?

Aurora is one of most popular tablet world wild and also there are few custom roms on SLD people are very active on the topic. maybe you just got bad luck for this unit. .

Yup, 1-2mm gap physically between the glass and the plastic edge. You can see parts of the usb connector through it. A smaller gap on top left. That's the side I hold it with and it creaks and moves slightly there, making it somewhat uncomfortable to hold - feels insecure. Shoddy workmanship. It's what I heard happened to a lot of people who had the first version too. At least I should not have any trouble selling it since Ainol has still a reputation that attracts customers. Won't last much longer I think.

You should return to seller since it's failed workmanship. you may having problem from who bought from you for the same reason.
