But you must understand that its something quiet different to buy program from creators website he gets 100% profit out of it, but when you want to buy music do you know how little the autor or the group gets from that ?

I understand what you're saying, but look at it this way, stealing from your employer (if not self employed) isn't ok, i mean chances are the work you do actually profits the person above you much more.

I know what you mean, there are a ton of tv shows i can't get the dvds for in HK but i got around this problem when i quite surprisingly found out that Amazon.co.uk sells tv box sets for pretty cheap (much cheaper than what they go for in HK) and the shipping cost was quite reasonable.
