You don't think the comply tip kills a little bit of the treble? In fact, as everyone says the M4 is too intense on treble region, comply would be a nice option to tame the harshness... The only problem is that comply are not so cheap and they don't last a lot... :/

It depends on personal taste, some people would prefer to sacrafice a bit of the treble for more bass, while others will be feel quite the opposite.

I just don't care for the Comply tips. I don't see how anyone could use them for extended listening. Hurts my ears.

That's weird... at least the ones that came with TF10 were eally comfortable... not sure about the ones that comes with Brainwavz products, because it is not the same material, for sure... I have one here, but I don't use it... I will try to see if there is something about the material

The TF10 use the T-series, we use the S-series, but that may change after CNY ;)

Just received my M4.

I have a few questions. I'm experiencing a constant hiss/crackling in the background when listening to music on the iPhone 4. If I pause/stop the music the noise disappears. This doesn't happen when I plug it into my computer. Also, my M1s don't seem to have the former problem either. Is this a problem on my end or something to do with the earphones themselves?

Hi guys, I need your help: I want to buy M4 with FiiO E6 & Free FedEx Priority Shipping. My question is...does the FiiO works with iPhone? What is FiiO L1 iPod Cable or FiiO L9 iPod Cable? Do I need this to make FiiO works?

Try it on another different device other than your iphone and PC (any other mp3 player you have). If there is no problem on the other device then it could be an issue with your iphone, but what i suspect is probably an issue with the quality of your song files. The M4 are sensitive and will reproduce any faults in your music will come out on the M4.

You can use the E6 with your iPhone with out the LOD cables, but earphones with mics and remotes that you then connect to the E6 may not work.

The LOD cables attach to the bottom of your iPhone to the docking connector, this provides for a better audio signal that the audio signal that comes from the normal headphone port at the top.

I've done some additional testing on a 2nd gen ipod shuffle and the hiss is still quite audible even with 320kbps files. Is that normal? This is also hearable on the PC, after I turned up the volume and looked for periods of silence or relative quietness in the song. The crackling seems to be on the iphone only, and is most prevalent when changing volume. When I took the stock tips off to switch them out with the others, I noticed a slight bulge in the mesh containing the driver in the left earpiece. Could that have any effect on the sound reproduction? I've uploaded some photos for reference http://imgur.com/a/tDQUk

Other than that I'm happy I purchased the M4, just really upset about the failed transactions.... FML.

The M4 are sensitive and if you, yourself are sensitive to such noises then you will notice it more. If you need to turn up the volume on your PC to hear a hiss then that too is not that unnormal as you are essentially sending more power through your earphones. The bulge in the mesh would not affect the sound.
It could be

My order has been in processing for the last 3 days, is this normal? Processing I assume means it still hasn't been packed right?

Mp4nation was closed due to CNY for about a week and only reopened for business again today Jan 26th which would most likely explain the delay in order processing..

OT.. What the hell is up with all the spam messages?
