The last Tablet I had with battery problems - you could delete the battery file in the root or where ever it was and it would create a New one then you train your battey to work properly by draining and charging to get the battery patten back to stop all this strange battery readings... think it messed up every time you flashed a new rom - so what you did was back up the file and put back after flashing....

Does that make sence lol

thanks Andreapraiano - as i am using the new kaze mod with phone disabled i cant get to the airplane mode as its FC when i select mobile setting - so thats a no go
#i will try the SPARE PARTS app, haptic was not on when i first got the player but the kaze mods seem to have it permanently enabled and cant disable in settings - im sure disabling that alone will give me some power back to the pot as its vibrating on every single thing

@DJ Whelan - interesting one there about the battery, really quite odd, but it seems to be another weapon in the arsenal to make these tabs "normal", though why we have to battle so hard is beyond me

Use the classic one, it works fine, experiments may cause some promems sometimes ;-)

Guys on 1201 fw, simply go back to 1103 fw and ur problems with battery drain will be gone. Thats for DT folks, if u are on GT, sorry, u are stuck.

From my experiments with 1201 I know that this fw is simply buggy. Was trying many things to get battery life longer with no succes. So I went back to 1103, which is sdk 2.0 anyway, and all went to normal, up to 3 days of battery life, where on 1201 couldnt get 1 day!

another thing, make sure ur device is properly sleeping after you turn screen off. Mine, on 1103, is. to make sure, enable heptic feedback, put it to sleep, after about 10 seconds simply touch those underscreen butons, if it is vibrating then your device is not sleeping properly, if it is not vibrating then it is sleeping as it should.
vibrating - very big battery drain,
not vibrating - very small batt drain cos processor is sleeping too.

thanks for that krocher, when in sleep the haptic is off .. well saying that ,, its not ... it was a second ago as its been sleeping for a while, then, after pressing the power button and blacking the screen the feedback is still there ... oh well .. waiting to see what the ICS build brings us, hopefully a whole new experience - just wish i could turn off tis damn haptic, i have tried several apps that have haptic in the options but to no avail, its still on and buzzing

Nice tip for me that i have DT one, but my battery drain is normal, it works for about 6/7 hrs... maybe the new gt hw needs more power... well lets wait for ICS...

Guy I need ur help, I have kaze mod 2.1 no 3g in my n50dt , I can't enable haptic feedback and check every time I lock the screen. Can u download lock screen widget from the market and check if it works properly?? I need to know if this widget works instead if the hw button that sometimes do not...
