My Midnite A81 has suddenly started misbehaving. On start up it checks SD card but then fails to load any programs that were moved there. It reads card - eg Music from the SD card plays (music player itself is on internal memory). I am wondering if the programs have been lost or I have inadvertently moved them. The APK files seem to be in a folder called data.

Can anyone remind me if I lose all my apps and data if I reload Android? Perhaps this would be the best first step!

You would loose any apps that are on the internal memory, but marketplace will remember all the paid apps you own when you sign in.

Check your SD card and make sure its working ok, try another SD card and see what happens.
