I've been thinking to buy a NOVO7 Advanced but I'm hearing rumours that it is discontinued? I can't see it on http://www.ainol.com, only the Basic version. I can also see that Basic version is getting ICS update, how about the advanced version? How big performance difference there is between Basic and Advanced? Is there any better choice for a tablet in the same price range that is likely to get a ICS update?

It also seems that MP4nation is no longer selling NOVO7 A..(http://mp4nation.net/catalog/ainol-novo ... p-652.html)

They won't be producing anymore, whatever stock that is out there is all there is. I do not know if the Novo 7 Advanced will come back in some form with ICS, but it wouldn't exactly surprise me either.

As for the Novo 7 advanced users seeing an ICS update, i really don't know, but its as i advise, when you purchase a tablet ALWAYS assume the version of android on that tablet is the highest version it will ever have.

So what are the advantages and disadvantages of the Basic version when compared to Advanced?

I will be having the common generic A10 tablet on the site soon, probably by it will be in stock.

I have not used the basic version but the main pro of the the basic is that it runs ICS and is cheaper, but that only means something on paper, till we see more feedback on the basic we won't know the real pros/cons.

Many modern games and video players required ARM CPU.
