I am very interested in these awesome cans but I do have a big question about them!
I recently bought the Brainwavz M2's and I completely love them! I never had this good IEM's in my life and I saw they were selling Brainwavz cans now! I would really like to buy them soon but since there so similiar to the M2's, are they still worth it? I'm not really a collector so I wouldn't like to have 2 products that are very much the same.
I know IEM's are completely different from cans but the sound doesn't really differ that much right? I'm also planning to buy a Fiio with it to make it really shine but then it must be worth the expenses.
On a side note, this would also be my very first decent headphone so I don't know that much about them.
Hi,and welcome to the forums! I can say that the M2's and the HM3's are SIMILAR to one another in sound signature, but they are most definitely not the same by any means. I think the HM3's have a wider soundstage(it sounds alot fuller)than the M2's,and the quality of bass is a bit more accurate(it has fuller bass..).The mids and highs, especially the highs, are an improvement over the M2's as well. When combined with the FiiO,it really comes into its own.I highly recommend this combo to you even though you have a set of M2's you will appreciate the difference
