Hi All,

My Teclast T51 player has stopped working for the last few months. Now I need some help to get it repaired.

I am from India and I brought this player on Jan 2010 from an Indian seller. It does not carry a warranty now. The problem with the player is that the battery drains out very quickly and it is not charging properly as well. Also the player becomes too hot when working. I can only use the player for 5-10 minutes after charging it for many hours. I am not sure what the problem is, whether it is just the battery or some inside chip etc. I have tried sending the player to the seller for repairing. He tried to repair it, but he could not find the actual problem and returned it back to me. Now I am totally clueless about what to do with it.

Does anyone has any idea about how can I get it repaired ? Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Nizar

Every since the warranty is out why not open the back and see if the battery has come loose. If it seems like the battery is fine then you may want to consider buying a similar battery and replacing it.

I am able to use the player by connecting it to the PC via USB. But when I disconnect the cable, the player shows 'No Power!' and shuts off after few minutes. I didn't open the player, even if I did I have no idea how to check the battery and so.

Is there any possibility of sending it back to HK and getting it replaced?

If you know any person that fiddles around with gadgets or knows how to solder then they could help you as it seems like the battery connection inside the unit has come loose.
