Here is a quick guide.
1. shutdown your T760
2. press Vol+ ,and insert USB table
3. install drivers if need
4. start RKAndroidTool.exe (make sure select ../rockdev/RK29xxLoader(L)_V2.06.bin as Loader)
5. select Loader and parameter (make sure select "../rockdev/?? parameter" as parameter)
6. press upgrade

Did you get to update your T760? Any improvements?

NO, I can't find the usb cable that came with. My husband put it away after we moved. now it's well hidden. he doesn't even know what i was talking about.

Now, I have live with it as it is. 8)

all is good, except after i start use my Gtab running HC 3.0. i realized what laggy means when people talking about on T760. it's still great but can't compare the custom rom i used on Gtab.

What type of USB cable does it use? Maybe we have a similar cable in the office.

I have no idea, the normal mini usb cables i have won't fit it. I'll take a picture of it on T760. Thanks Raz.

Maybe it's a micro USB cable like you have with cellphones. I think was able to use the cable that came with my Vibrant when I used to have a T760.

Yeah, I think mini USB should be the standard. I get annoyed with proprietary cables because I always lose them.

I keep making fun of certain people in the office when ever their iDevice is running out of power and they can't find a cable that can work in their apple gear.

Sorry for the noob question, but can someone please post the instructions for installation of the new version 3.07? I've downloaded it and done the following:
1. shutdown your T760
2. press Vol+ ,and insert USB cable
3. install drivers if need
4. start RKAndroidTool.exe (make sure select ../rockdev/RK29xxLoader(L)_V2.06.bin as Loader)
5. select Loader and parameter (make sure select "../rockdev/?? parameter" as parameter)
6. press upgrade

But I'm stuck on step 4- I keep getting the message- "failed to load setting.ini file".
Help!!! Can't upgrade!

please ensure you remove/rename all chinese / odd characters to English names -so if any folder or file has odd characters/ chinese characters please rename to something legible otherwise windows wont see the files properly, also ensure the drivers are correctly loaded
