Took me a long time to get it. Download Link Enjoy.

Excellent. Mine flashed fine. Little bummed to not see the applications menu with game capability. That would enable launching the Ebook reader from within the firmware and not a separate boot so I could upgrade to 2.74 instead of 2.63 that I have to boot into.. First thing I noticed is the video out now has pal and NTSC settings! woo! Definite video playing improvement. One of the movies that was choppy now plays smooth. Audio settings has the 3D mode which has quite a few options for configuring things (3D on/off, speaker type, bass settings, etc) and an EQ section that has about 7-8 presets. I did not see much else, ebook and photo sections look the same with no new options. Would be nice to have a slideshow in the photos. PICSHOW app does it but without the apps menu you can't launch it from the firmware. So hopefully now we'll get some DIY firmwares that include that feature. Nice we have a better firmware now!

Unfortunately, you may have a hard time finding it, if not impossible. I remember some players that only released the .hxf file, and not the .dl, and .bin files.

I searched many places, and every download I found only contained the .hxf file.

I'm trying to restore the firmware through the program to cc1600. got the firmware from teclast tl-m50hd, but there are different buttons (to enter the firmware you need to press a key combination ... + reset. Here I am suffering now without button reset (can you know what to do?

FW from other players rarely work. Even if they do, it's never quite right. At a loss here, without the proper files. I looked all over the place for them, and like you, couldn't find them.

We've seen this before, using other firmware, but, as I said, everything rarely works. Good to see you at least can use it now. Way to hang in there and get the job done.
