hi folks,
i've read the reviews posted and been following the thread.
before i part with my cash, genuinely how usable is this? it's going to be for a seven year old so it will be games and videos mainly.
i'm not after perfection but generally 'easy to use' on the less demanding games will be brill.
any honest views?

Ok, I've only had my N50 for a few days, but here is my opinion for what its worth.
I'm new to android, but like messing around with computer stuff so.........
After receiving the N50 and figuring out how it works, where things are located, I then upgraded the firmware to Kaze's version. I only had one bug that I noticed in the original firmware, and that was with a micro sd card installed, whenever the screen timed out, I'd have to press the reset button and restart my N50.
After the reflash, it hasn't done this.
Now on to how it would work for a 7 year old......
If you work with the N50, set it up, install the games and music, I'd say your 7 year old wouldn't have a problem getting around and listening to music, watching videos, and playing games.
However, if you plan on buying one and letting your child figure it out and install their own stuff........
I think they would get frustrated trying to figure it out.
Now I may be wrong, but my 10 and 12 year old sons like mine, and can find anything on their they want to watch or play, but I think they would have a hard time figuring it out on their own.
Just my $.02
Oh, by the way, both my kids say they want their own N50 for Christmas!
it's what i was hoping to hear.
