12/8/11 - Rumors and from one developer who's been posting videos of Android's new released OS ICS has come to the Novo 7 Advanced Model (Note that ICS is also coming to the Basic Model as well) but this news is quite surprising as there have been other rumors of Ainol ending poroduction of the Advanced Model and just going with the Basic. The thing is though both Models are different. they both use different CPUs and GPUs
Advanced CPU: Allwinner GPU is the Mali-400 (Which beats the GC860 in most everything to 3D Rending too playing back Videos, Etc)
Basic CPU: MIPS (aka Xburst) GPU is the GC860 (a step up from the GC800) and the bad news after all is some if not most apps. won't work with a MIPS CPU due to most apps. are developed for ARM CPU which is what the Allwinner CPU is based of

How to use Livesuit:
- create a Folder @Deskop on PC and make sure the livesuit.exe File is copy/pasted within that new folder then "Run as Admin." to install (it'll extract all the Files for the program to that new Folder you created) then "Run as Admin to open the Program. now click the yellow box and search for the .img Firmware File for the Novo7 ainol Novo7 v1.6T
- next make sure your Novo7 is completely powered down/off and then Press/Hold the +Volume Button connect to PC THEN while still holding the +Volume Button press the power button atleast 5-6 times and the Device should connect to PC and LiveSuit should detect it and bring up a message and then press yes to all messages then sit back and relax
