It was found that apple doctor'd the photo's they submitted to the courts. Also now that Google owns the moto patents things are looking bad for apple.

No, that will end with Apple and HTC agreeing not to sue each other and maybe some sort of licensing deal.\

I heard that, but even if they did not, Samsung devices, especially some of their phones are clearly made to look like an iphone, i was even fooled when i walked by a phone store, i had to stop as my brain registered something that looked like a iPhone but had a silver type button on the front. If it could fool a person like me walking by it will easily fool the average consumer that is not that tech savy or knowledgeable.

I think apple have a case with the galaxy S and Galaxy Ace, they look very much like the 3GS and are a bit took close for comfort.

Not the tablets though. The galaxy tabs don't really look like iPads at all or at least look like iPads as much as any other tablet does. Different aspect ratios, sizes, backs, no button on front, different OS, don't really understand how apple managed to be granted an injunction in Germany. They clearly look like different products.

Mine will enlarge on it's own and even pops out of it's case every now and again. It is a Samsung so maybe that's why. I'll post you a pic if you want rowwor. :mrgreen:

Their tabs may not be trying to look like an apple product, but samsung do need a kick up their ass and start to innovate.

From what I read I think their(Apple) problem is that parts for both products seem to be made in the same factory.
So I would take a stab and say Apple thinks that Samsung took a look at their notes and copied some of their answers.

I am not sure which new phone in the galaxy series it is but Samsung have a new one that looks like a iPhone 4, i saw the ad in the metro over the weekend. Its a pretty blatant copy of the look.

Apple sources their screens and many of their other components from Samsung (processor, memory etc), but iPhone/iPad lines are done by Foxconn, part of their computer and ipod line are done by 3M and Foxconn, some of their other products are done by a few other manufacturers. Samsung assembles all their stuff pretty much in house, samsung has a lot of massive (and i do mean massive) factories in China.

Well since Samsung builds a large number of components for apple, they have to be crazy to piss off one of thier biggest suppliers.
