Hi, I've recently updated my novo8 with the rom on the first topic, everything works fine just for one thing.

i have a 16gb usb pendrive from sandisk cruzer, formatted in ntfs, where i put some files. every time I stick my pendrive into the tablet i cannot see the content of folders and also on the top notification bar i have a research for error on the memory stick that stay there and never go away. also in es file explorer i cannot see the content of this usb stick.

any help?

Try with fat, maybe ntfs is not supported

As suggested try formatting it to fat32.

ok, i'll explain the situation:

with the stock rom version 0627 i can read ntfs filesystem, even the 16gb sandisk usb. I can also read a usb 1tb Lacie HD!!!!
with the modified version i can still read the 1tb usb hd without a problem, but the 16gb sandisk is still unreadable (the tablet still search for errors, I've already tried to formati it a couple of times).

I'll made further test with different firmware and let you know (it could be also a usb pendrive problem, it's quite old and used!)

It maybe that something in the firmware that causes a issue with thumbdrives, if you have any other thumb drives maybe you can try them on the novo8 and see if they work with it.

ok, i've installed the rom in the first topic and i've changed the thumbdrive (now i have a 32 gb disk with ntfs partition), and it works just great!!! probably my "old" 16gb usb disk is a little overused...

Where can we get this?

Can we get an ipad or other protector and adapt to novo8?

I need to get this locally otherwise by the time it arrives the screen wold be broken already

i can't seem to get this ROM installed nor... any of the Others (well cept for the newest Version of the HNCZP Mod Link:http://www.chinadigitalcomm.com/ainol-mid-f105/hnczp-novo8-v2-20-gm-0-0-3-custom-rom-based-on-official-0726-updated-t10668.html) but only the Official Firmware Version. i've tried with Windows Xp and still no go. tried re-downloading as well

Hi, I've recently updated the novo 8 with this rom and everything works fine, except for one thing...
As I posted on the forum I have a problem with wifi connection through a proxy, i've tried a couple of free program on the market but they don't work! They all says that there is a problem with iptables...

any help? thanks!
