Do any of the current Android tablet models have a removable battery other than the MIDnite?

By this you mean something akin to "some have internal batteries that can be easily removed, but are not truly 'removable batteries' and by doing this one would void the warranty" or "some can be easily modified for this but it is not an actual 'feature' and doing so would void the warranty"? Or something more like "some can be supplemented with external battery packs, but they are not 'removable batteries' and are not supported hardware, so you use at your own risk"?

simple answer - no .. errr .. yes .. errr ... arrgghh

all can be removed if you really want to, if you want to break open the internally sealed shell and desolder, most do not have batteries on the board with any form of connector, they are soldered in etc - so yes, you can swap them out, killing the warranty but media player and tabs in the norm of things do not have truly removable batteries like mobile phones

wits so far are the only ones i have seen that have removable batteries, i just wish they would actually make an external charger to charge the spare to make the re-movability actually useful

That would be wonderful. You'd think the company that makes the batteries would offer to make/provide a charger. They'd sell more batteries.

im afraid you are talking common sense there - so no, they wont :) - if they wished to they would have made one by now, but its been a year or so since the first came out and they have not made one
