As asked by Support i have carried out a full hard reset of the device. First thing i did was to get it on the WiFi then to try and get into the Market Place. Have tried 5 times to sign in and it does not get any further. Have checked the username and password i am using and its correct as i can sign into my google account on the PC.

Also as soon as i Launch the Browser i get the following error

The application Browser (process com.android.browser) has stopped. Please try again. Have done 2 reboots and tried clearing the cach and still get this

How did you uninstall the apps that failed? are they completely removed? Did you remove any by dragging to trash?

It is my experience that sometimes dragging to trash or failed installs plus resets can cause ROM instability. I have always reflashed at this point simply because things go downhill from here on in.... You have 2 areas of concern now, the apps store and the browser... methinks your Rom is pants....

Have just done a full hard reset again so everything is back to factory settings and same problem. Cannot get it onto the Market Place even that wifi is connected and the error showing when opening the browser.

Ummmm not good. Had it nearly a month now with around only 2hrs of use due to these problems.

Am i able to request a refund if i was to send the device back as its had issues from Day 1. I paid with PayPal

I think you are correct about the Rom being pants

just contact support, which i think you have already done anyway, so they will have all the info and the fact its not right and enquire about return and your options

Hi,

This is the reply from Support regarding Market Place. How can i fix this

With the Ainol Novo 5 error with regard to you not being able to log in to the market now, this seems unfortunate but may be connected with Google locking out the tablet. Actually, the reason a market unlock procedure even exists is because Google often locks out these kind of tablet devices.

Is the market throwing you any kind of specific error?

Were you aware that if you purchase an android device that is NOT supported by google, there's a really good chance android market will give you issues?

did you try any other market apps?? or do you need an APK direct to load onto the device
