most of these players are 1080p players but I want to know whether these support dts,ac3 audio as most mkvs and 1080p videos hace ac3 and dts audio.

Most can handle DTS and AC3, but if you use the TV out the audio will be down sampled to stereo.

From my experience (had the v8000HDS) with SC9800, it plays AC3 and DTS (tested in .MKV) without any issues.

Just to add again, most players that can play MKV will play DTS and AC3 without issue, only they will not output that through HDMI, you will need to use your receiver to emulate 5.1/7.1
