hi guys

im still figuring out my new onda player

i`ve seen that mine has firmware 1.0, but on the onda site there is a 1.1 version, so i download it

there is a VX757.HXF file there, what should i do with that?

ive read here that some users with that firmware (i dont know if they did an upgrade or the player come with that firmware from the factory) have some issues with the id3 tags, some files dont play and so

is there a way to go back if you see that things like that are happening on the player after the upgrade?

does anyone knows chinese to see if there is some information about that new firmware and so? i cant find anything with western alphabet

mine actually shipped with 1.1, but i still cannot play mp3s with id3 tags

Ver 1.2 will play MP3s with ID3 tags. This version fixes several other problems!

fred, i think you are talking about the last firmware for the 747

according to the onda site, the last one for the 757 its the 1.1

and i think im not gonna risk the player with that upgrade if i cant find some realiable review about it

the only thing it says in the commentary is that "improves player stability", but mine isnt unstable at all (unless unstable means different things on chinese and english/spanish)

don't use the VX747 firmware for the VX757, it will probably brick it
