Please, Please, Please. I know a lot of threads here "look new", but please check to see the last date posted in a thread before you add a comment like "I agree". I take my job very seriously, and read thru threads, and nothing irritates me more than seeing someone who (could have been inadvertently) resurrected an old thread where the next to last post is October 5th and then here we are November 26th with "yes I agree" or " that is ugly".

Please remember that many "new threads" are actually old since we lost a month and a half of content. I am deleting posts in these cases, as when you resurrect an old thread, someone else will probably post too. If it is constructive (say a question about what was being discussed), then that is one thing, but otherwise expect it to be deleted.

Oh and don't just post because you want to increase your count. I have seen a lot of this lately.

Thank you!

Remember, be kind to your moderators.

i agree, lets try not to dig up old posts, its pointless - unless you REALLY have something to add.

Good point, Ox! I'm glad you agree! ;)

Thanks Paul for saying this, as I have also been deleting many-a-posts due to this problem (namely from one particular poster). But nonetheless, I've been seeing it a lot because of the issues with the transition.

Yes I have been deleting quite a few too. I know it is an easy mistake to make, but it needs to stop. I know over time it won't be an issue, but if we can curb some now....well you follow.

I have a relevant point to add to this discussion, but I think I'll post it in two months when this thread has been forgotten. Also, I think I'll duck now, in case PaulRBeers decides to hit me as he occasionally does when I tease the moderators.
