My HDVP-1 shows a smily in sleep condition

Hi Guys,
My HDVP-1 suddenly one day started to give a smiley somewhat like this

instead of menu. now when I press menu button on player it gives four option
USB
upgrade
setup
etc
now when I press USB everything becomes ok and players plays everything fine.
I have also upgraded firmware(without sound) but no change.
any suggestion for fixing the problem

Does the menu come up if you start the HDVP-1 without anything plugged in?

That's interesting to see a smiley when you start up. :lol:

I'll check my version if it needs upgrade, well there is only one available anyway.

Thats certainly interesting, there isn't any button on the HDVP1 or the remote that is pushed in?

NO dear, it comes in both condition irrespective of usb drive plugged in or not

No, I have also open the box but could not find anything like any jumper or reset switch but the interested thing is when I press menu and go to usb everything goes fine until I power off the player after power on it shows smiley again

Maybe it's screen saver?

yes it looks like screen saver as smiley changes it position but originally it was not there and any way i can switch it off
